This book provides a foundation in traditional grammar meant specifically for Malaysian English language teachers and teacher trainees who plan to teach in the country. It is intended to cater to immediate and basic knowledge in grammar that a teacher needs in order to effectively teach English as a second language in Malaysia. Examples of common errors in the English language made by Malaysian students are also included in chapters of the book. These examples are based on a corpus of student writing and can help readers better understand problems Malaysian students face in using English grammar.
